Darren Siedschlag
Darren was a 12 letter athlete for Dee-Mack participating in football, basketball and baseball. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, attaining a Bachelor and Master degree in Kinesiology. He worked as an athletic trainer for a year before returning to the U of I to obtain a Doctor of Medicine in 2006. He will complete a four year medical residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ in 2011.

Darren has been a member of the Army National Guard since graduating from Dee-Mack. He served in an infantry unit on active duty in Egypt, Germany and Korea where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Upon completion of medical school he was transferred to a medical unit as a Flight Surgeon and has achieved the rank of Major. Darren is the son of Duane and Sherri Siedschlag of Mackinaw.
