Head Coach     Job Linboom                                             "We've got a solid line and good backs.  Our run game should be respectable."

Coach Linboom graduated from Aledo High School in 1993.  At Aledo he was a two-time first team All-Olympic Conference linebacker and went on to play the same position at Blackburn College, a NCAA Division-III school.  At Blackburn, Linboom was a team captain in his senior year in which the team advanced to the state semi-finals before losing to eventual champ Richmond-Burton.  Linboom also served in the Illinois Army National Guard from 1991-1998 as a forward observer for a field artillery unit.

Upon graduation from college, Linboom returned to his alma mater and was an assistant coach for Cullen Welter during his first year at Aledo in 1998.  That year, Aledo won their first state championship and Linboom had the privilege of coaching an undefeated freshman team that would go on to win a state championship of its own in 2001.  In 1999, Alexis hired Linboom as their head football coach.  Alexis and Warren consolidated and won a state title in 2004.
