Informational program on suicide prevention:

 

When: Wednesday, January 16th, at 7:00 p.m.

 

Where: Mackinaw Community Center

101 Orchard St. Mackinaw, IL 61755

 

Who: Anyone 18 & older who wants to learn more about mental health and suicide prevention.

 

Cost: It is free to the public

 

What: Attendees will be trained in Question Persuade Refer.

QPR is an evidenced based educational program that teaches people how to recognize a mental health emergency

and get people at risk the help they need.

 

This program will be led by the Hult Center for Healthy Living

Classes are restricted to 25 persons, so reservations are needed.
